my 16w old ds absolutely loves nappy change time at home, its his social time and he chats and grins the whole time. this happens either in his bedroom on his change table or on a different one in the bathroom before his bath.

sadly if i ever change his nappy at my mums or anywhere else he will scream the whole time no matter how happy he was before hand and no matter how much i do things he likes! i do it at a similar height to at home on nice comfy towels and use same wipes etc but still he hates it.

anybody got any ideas? i cringe when i hear him filling his nappy now and its making me want to become even more of a hermit..

Hi Amber.

Aww i feel for you. Have you tryed useing some of your own towels or even something from home. It must be heart breaking and i can see why you would want to stay at home. But it's not fair to you then being a hermit. Perhaps your mum could hold his favorite toy up and talk to him while you are trying to change him. I think bubs like there femiliar smell that's why i suggested for you to use a towle from home or something that your ds would be used to.

I had a similar situation when my son was a baby. I think it's just a stage they go through in there early day's. I'm shure it will pass. I do hope i was a help. Good Luck, Amber. Cheers Julie.
